CFC was founded by Swiss-born Georg Baehler, co-founder of Noir, who believes in manufacturing the old-fashioned way—with hand-drawings and not a computer in sight. All CFC furniture is made and/or finished to order. The customer can choose fabric/finish and Customer Own Material (COM) is available. They are proud to offer a multitude of finishes including waxed, washed, and multi-step lacquered finish.

Many of CFC’s designs incorporate recycled douglas fir from torn-down homes and reclaimed oak from barns fences and boxcars. These reused materials add to the hand-finished characteristics of each piece. Georg’s designs are made to last a lifetime and have natural imperfections which make them all unique.
Our Story
Founded in 1999, CFC is sister company to NOIR and quickly grew from a one-man show to be one of Southern California’s finest furniture manufacturers, catering to some of the country’s most exclusive stores and designers. CFC manufactures furniture the old fashioned way, by hand, in Los Angeles. With unique designs and quality in mind, CFC strives to build custom furniture and home accessories that last for generations to come.

Freight + Delivery
Freight: All items are shipped with blanket-wrap carriers (i.e. Cal Metro, Trail Lines, and American West).
White-glove: Items can be shipped White Glove upon request.
*COVID Update: carriers have determined that white glove delivery service may pose a health hazard to drivers. If a delivery location is determined unsafe by a driver, they will complete the delivery by offering threshold or garage delivery. The reduced service includes package removal and disposal, but the rates will remain the same.
